(1/4/25) As shown in this graph, the amount of Active listings rose in late 2024 but dropped in December in SLO and Paso. Active Listings creates the inventory. Too much inventory for the amount of buyers in the market pushes home prices lower, but we’ve had a low inventory over the past few years which has resulted in home price increases, especially in high-demand neighborhoods.
