I took this photo in 1996 with one of my first digital cameras. I had used an Apple Quicktake camera  a year or two before this but it was a weird shape. I can’t remember the brand of this camera but it was the shape of a compact camera.  The resolution was not great back then.

Based on the 4 movies playing, I think this was taken between August 23-29th.  Both a Very Brady Sequel and The Island of Dr. Moreau was released on the 23rd.

The theater added 3 additional screens in the area that’s now Shin’s. I don’t remember what year they added them (or closed them).

The Brady movie was the #3 movie the weekend it was released and ended up grossing around $21M, half of what the original Brady movie did.
